Peserico has always celebrated women by sharing their passions, dreams, and projects. For International Women's Day, we chose a local Venetian artist to create an exclusive illustration, a tribute to women and their freedom. Francesca Rizzato is the author of this work, representing a narrative that celebrates female determination, elegance, and inspired vision. The aviator woman is the symbol of the Peserico SS25 Collection – Movement of Ideas.

For me, the act of drawing is very similar to meditation; it's a moment of calm where I can focus all my attention. It’s also a tool that allows me to explore complex themes, understand realities different from my own, and train irony on serious topics.

It was a natural path. I've always had a great passion for drawing and printed images. As a child, I was fascinated by the illustrations in the books I read; I enjoyed observing how each author had their own visual language. After graduating, I met some great masters of illustration (Guido Scarabottolo and Elena Xausa, primarily), who became a source of inspiration and helped me pursue my ambitions.

I enjoy observing people and situations. I'm also inspired by what I read and listen to. The best ideas are often the ones that come by chance, without overthinking them.

Yes, definitely. My works are joyful, playful, and ironic. I like to convey a sense of calm and try to bring a smile.

I enjoy observing how fashion changes over time and what it tells us, even as a society. Personally, I prefer to own few pieces, focusing on those that are made with care, durable, and composed of natural fibers. When I buy something new, I pay attention to how it was produced.

My wish is for every woman to have the freedom to choose who she wants to be or become.

I would advise them to cultivate their passion with patience and dedication. To do this beautiful job, one needs time, consistency, and curiosity. It’s important to be interested in as many things as possible — reading, going to the cinema, taking walks, and practicing sports. It’s essential to follow a targeted educational path, but above all, to nurture personal research.
